Here’s another view on the matter of Denise insisting that her family was forced to file for a piece of the book. She insists that if they didn’t do it, the kids (Sydney and Justin) could file a claim against Lou (their grandfather and executor of the estate of Nicole Brown Simpson). This is from an attorney close to the case who does not wish to be identified: “Denise has said that the kids could sue Lou if he didn’t file claims. But if that’s true, then kids already have a claim against Lou. Because their state court request in April asking for 50 percent was denied because Lou and/or his lawyers negligently failed to properly renew their judgment.”
