I’m thinking that if Dr. Carole Lieberman had been questioned during the OJ trial he might actually be behind bars. More insightful stuff from the doctor. Can you believe anyone will still date this loser???
Dr. Lieberman’s bio is at the end of this posting:
**************
The primary motive for O.J. killing Nicole was his feeling as though she had finally abandoned him forever. At the ballet recital, he realized there was no hope left. This resurrected his repressed rage at being abandoned by his mother when he was a little boy, after his parents divorced and his mom had no time for him, because of her having to care for his younger sibling and having to work long hours.
Another unconscious motive for killing Nicole was his fantasy that if he got rid of her, he could replace her with his girlfriend, Paula, as his wife and mother of his children. “Paula was looking to settle down and start making babies, and I was done with that part of my life.” He feared that once Paula realized he didn’t want more children, she would abandon him, too. So he tried to quickly replace her with a cheerleader he once knew.
This was O.J.’s m.o. As soon as he sensed that he was about to be abandoned by a woman, he panicked and looked for the nearest substitute. This is how he met Nicole. After realizing that his first wife was calling it quits, he went out to breakfast where his waitress happened to be Nicole. He quickly jumped into a relationship with her, so that he could replace his wife as the woman in his life. Then he replaced Nicole with Paula, and was trying to replace Paula – just in case – with an ex-cheerleader. Women were interchangeable for O.J. – as long as they were there for him to meet his every whim!
About Dr. Lieberman: If anyone can analyze O.J., it’s Dr. Carole Lieberman. As the case unfolded, she was the trial analyst for E!, and a frequent commentator on other broadcast and cable news outlets, as well as on radio and in print. In her best-selling book, Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them and When to Leave Them, O.J. exemplified the Prince of Darkness type whose possessive jealousy would end in – sometimes fatal – violence. And, when Dr. Lieberman visited the L.A. County Jail to perform a forensic evaluation of another inmate, she got to observe O.J. first-hand.
So readers, what do you think? Feel free to comment. Tell me I suck, whatever. You have a voice. Let it be heard.
