The Las Vegas Incident analyzed

Dr Lieberman has taken the time to analyze OJ’s recent actions in Las Vegas. Here’s what she’s come up with:

O.J. in Trouble on Day Book Released – “No coincidence” says psychiatrist!

Will O.J.’s psychopathology ever end? Not according to well known Forensic Psychiatrist, Dr. Carole Lieberman, who concludes that his latest brush with the law in Las Vegas – on the same day that If I Did It was released – is “No coincidence! O.J.’s m.o. is his need to be in control of everyone at all times. Unconsciously he became embroiled in allegedly breaking into a casino hotel room to wrest control of the news about him away from the Goldman’s book promotion – and onto himself on his terms.”

Dr. Lieberman, who has called If I Did I “a petri dish crawling with psychopathology,” explains, “The soaring sales of the book have angered O.J. because he feels gipped out of royalties which he had once expected,” until a judge awarded the rights to the Goldmans. “O.J. felt powerful and in control as long as he was able to keep money out of his victims’ families’ hands, despite the long-standing judgment in their favor. Just like a little child, who cries over his toy being taken away, goes after someone else’s toy to retaliate, O.J. (allegedly) stole his sports memorabilia from someone else.” She adds, “It is also a manifestation of his unconscious guilt that has driven him into police questioning – and potential arrest – for a crime, at the moment the book is telling the world that he is guilty of murder.”

If anyone can analyze O.J., it’s Dr. Carole Lieberman. As the case unfolded, she was the trial analyst for E!, and a frequent commentator on other broadcast and cable news outlets, as well as on radio and in print. In her best-selling book, Bad Boys: Why We Love Them, How to Live with Them and When to Leave Them, O.J. exemplified the Prince of Darkness type whose possessive jealousy would end in – sometimes fatal – violence. And, when Dr. Lieberman visited the L.A. County Jail to perform a forensic evaluation of another inmate, she got to observe O.J. first-hand.
